Randhawa inaugurates newly constructed lane, drain


Jammu: Member Legislative Council (MLC), Ch. Vikram Randhawa, today inaugurated newly constructed lane and drain at Narwal in Gandhi Nagar assembly constituency.Ch. Vikram Randhawa today visited Mohalla Tarkhana at Narwal in Gandhi Nagar assembly segment and inaugurated the newly constructed lane and drain. While speaking on the occasion Randhawa said that the said Mohalla was ignored since decades by the previous regimes as there were few houses in the area.He said that after his election to the Upper House to the State Assembly a deputation of the people from the Mohalla Tarkhana visited him and raised the demand for the construction of the lane and drain for which he immediately released Rs 2 lakh and the construction work was started. He said that he is happy to see that the work was completed well in time and the demand of the people has been fulfilled. He said that Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) is committed for the development of every nook and corner.Randhawa said that BJP does not believe in the vote bank politics and is committed for ‘Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas’ irrespective of caste, creed and colour. He said that where there is only one house that too need basic amenities like proper road connectivity, drinking water supply and electrification. He said that it is very astonishing that those who have ruled the state for decades have ignored areas where the population was less that reflects that they have played a vote bank politics and concentrated on the areas with good number of votes.  He said that BJP will carry forward the agenda of development ignoring the vote bank politics. “We are committed to carry development to the doorsteps of the public”, he added.The locals of the area have extended their whole hearted support to the BJP in the coming future.
