After assuming the charge as DIG DKR Range, today on 09.07.2018, Rafiq-ul-Hassan IPS held meeting of staff of RPHQ Batote in his office chamber in order to discuss the various matters pertaining to the office of RPHQ Batote as well as DKR Range and introduction with the staff.

At the outset all the staff members of RPHQ Batote welcomed the Worthy DIG DKR Range. After introduction DIG DKR Range issued detailed instructions guidelines to the staff of RPHQ Batote in order to ensure punctuality/discipline and work culture at RPHQ Batote. While spelting out his priorities DIG stressed upon professional Policing in all fields of Police working especially investigation of cases on its merits. The investigation of cases needs to be intensified and the same should be carried on professionally after getting advice from prosecution wing, so that case are investigated, tried and decided on merits. DIG also emphasized on the need to handle NDPS cases professionally and follow the guidelines/SOP issued from time to time in this regard so that conviction rate goes up/ is enhanced.

While emphasizing the role of Police public meetings (PCPG) DIG stressed for conducting Police public meetings frequently so that Police public relations are strengthened and common people have full faith and confidence on the working of Police force. Special care needs to be taken of the weaker section of the society to protect their rights and remain always available for them. DIG further stressed upon the modern policing which includes community policing use of modern technology/tools of investigations etc. While highlighting the importance of information technology DIG laid stress upon CCTNS project which is a national project involving use of computer technology at grass root level in respect of registration of FIR, investigation of cases, presentation of challan, maintenance of daily diary etc.

At the end DIG sought the cooperation of society/ general public in carrying forward his message.
