Police Organised Volley-Ball Tournament

In an effort to connect with the youth, Doda Police under the directions of SSP Doda Mohammad Shabir organised a Volleyball tournament with an aim to inculcate the spirit of sportsmanship and constructively engage the youth of the area to work towards peace and tranquility in the area and also to tap their raw talent.
This tournament was inaugurated by SDPO Bhadarwah Brijesh Sharma, Principal HSS Belaru, Suresh Manhas & SHO Bhadarwah Muneer Ahmed. In this tournament total 09 teams participated and was played at the ground of Hr. Sec.School Belaru,Bhalla.The final match of the tournament was played between Friends Club Bhallesa and Panchoo Rewada club which was won by Friends Club Bhallesa.
On this occasion Adl. SP Bhadarwah Rajinder Singh was the chief guest while Principal HSS, Belaru ,Suresh Manhas and Tehsildar Bhalla, Amir Hussain were guest of Honour.
It is to be mentioned that this tournament was organized by the Doda Police with an aim of encouraging peace and harmony in the region.
While speaking on the occasion, Adl.SP Bhadarwah said, “Our aim is to provide a platform to the talented youth to let them locate their hidden skills and utilise their capabilities at the professional level, and Police under CAP is always there to provide them all the help by giving them a platform to perform.”
“The events are being organized by J and K Police under the direction of DGP J and k Police to involve the youths in healthy and positive activities and to keep them away from bad habits.
Later, prize distribution function was held in which trophy and medals were presented to winner and runners-up teams by the chief guest. Moreover amount of Rs 1500 and Rs 1000 presented to the winner and runners-up teams respectively
Prominent among those present during the concluding function were ICPP Bhalla, Sunil Parihar, Ex Sarpanches/Panches, Staff members, Students and huge gathering of civilian from adjoining areas of Bhalla.
