KISHTWAR, OCT 19: In a bid to prevent mishaps and ensure a safe Diwali during the festival on October 19, the Kishtwar police have issue an advisory.The advisory stated that the use of fire crackers on the congested roofs, in the congested lanes & bye lanes may be avoided ,  no fire crackers may be bursted/used near electric transformers or electric cables and  the use of rockets should be avoided in view of their capacity of causing huge fire incidents . It further stated that children should not be allowed to use crackers independently but should use it only under supervision of an adult and first-aid box should be kept ready for quick treatment.The Senior Superintendent of Police Abrar Chowdhury  has strictly banned the use of liquor in public places,the bikers may refrain from over speeding the bikes in congested localities and avoid the bike stunts at all costs lest action under law is attracted towards them.SSP also retested the use of fire crackers (patakas/aatishbaazi) may be avoided to the maximum possible extent. In the otherwise case minimum use of firework (patakas/aatishbaazi) may be observed. In case of emergency, call  Dy. It is worthwhile to mention here that the Kishtwar Police have beefed up security across the town  in a bid to ensure an incident-free Diwali.
